Ed Eaton
Summerland, BC

Originally from England, Ed, for much of his youth harbored dreams of one day becoming a racing driver or working on a garbage truck; instead, he spent four years at art school and washed dishes for a living. He then worked as a model maker for film and TV before going on to become an award winning, Swiss trained watchmaker; working at the Royal Crown Jewelers in London, England, restoring antique wrist and pocket watches.

After moving to Canada, Ed exchanged his watchmaker’s tools for a keyboard and mouse and in his new career he creates photo-realistic images and movies of yet to be built architectural models and interiors. In his spare time, he uses the same technology to produce imaginitively “weird” pictures and has been working in this medium for ten years. He also works with mixed media and abstract metalwork. Having a one man show at the Summerland Art Gallery last year was a highlight of his work.

Very much a family man, Ed also spends his time enjoying good music, films, and tinkering with his old truck.

His fabulous artwork speaks for itself—
